Adjectives describe nouns, giving the reader a descriptive clue, e.g a red car, an unnecessary royal yacht.
When describing nouns we can use comparative or superlative cases to describe a pair or a group of nouns in more detail.
Comparative using the comparative case is comparing 2 things. For adjectives of 2 syllables or fewer one would add "er" or just "r" if the adjective ended in "e".
Superlative With superlative you are comparing 3 or more nouns. For adjectives of 2 syllables or more you would add "est" or "st" if the adjective ended in "e"
For adjectives of 3 or more syllables you would use "more" for the comparative case or "most" for the superlative case e.g Comparing 2 people, "Reginald is far more entertaining then Ermintrude", but for 3 or more peeps "Wilde is the most entertaining of all"
